The heart of the design is its self-inflating foam that measures 2 inches (5 cm) and features the Therm-A-Rest StrataCore construction, a design that provides the most superior warmth-to-weight ratio of any self-inflating foam construction.

With a 3.8 R-value, the Therm-A-Rest ProLite™ Apex™ supports adventurers in staving off the cold during three-season pursuits. The compact self-inflating pad also features Therm-A-Rest’s high-performance WingLock valve, which has three-times the airflow rate of the classic valve thanks to a larger opening and one-way inflation.
